Hi Trish,
Many thanks for replying.
The trouble with these requests nobody knows how you know and can end up duplicating.
I have alot of stuff off FreeREG -- I really rate FreeREG -- excellent resource.
There are a number of people referred to Fort.
My problem is I really need to see Tithe Maps or other plans / maps that show how many and where dwellings were in The Fort to see if I can better tie it to the 1841 Census.
Also some of the EVAN(S), WILLIAM(S), JOHN, JENKINS were Non-Conformist. I had a 6 month sub. to Genealogist, but was not impressed by the quality of their information (eg transcriptions were full of errors compared to Ancestry and FindMyPast) plus N-C records didn't seem to cover the Parishes I was interested in -- Whitchurch, Brawdy, Roch, Mathry, Llanrhian -- to name the most important.
So for now I'm really asking for people with good local historical knowledge.
I'm working on a 'report of progress' for another relative (ie progress on Pembrokeshire) and really ought (if it's possible) to post some of the 'trees' I've created.
Actually, anyone with access to Rate Books for The Fort might shed extra light on who was there...
In hope...
