I am hoping to find this family probably in the West Ham area or possibly the London area.

Then this is them (I think) in the 1861 census ages are very strangely changing though

Show us them in 1861/1881.......how have you arrived at 1871?

but the name is HOLTON not Holtom...well it appears to be in 1861....the image has been enhanced in 1871 which makes it look more like Holtom?

Thank you Wendy and Bryant.  I have found the family listed in different things as both Holtom and Holton.  I am pleased  that you were able to find the info for me.  I could very well be off on the father's birthdate as I don't have anything other then his name on Fred's marriage certificate.
