Old Rashee Graveyard
« on: Monday 29 April 13 18:27 BST (UK) »
I am trying to locate where my great great grandparents John Kernaghan and Eliza nee McBride are buried. They lived at Kilbride, Doagh. John may have died 20 April 1887. I don't have a date of death for Eliza. Apparently they are not buried in Kilbride graveyard. The other possibility might be the old Doagh graveyard. Can anyone help with this please?

From PRONI Will Extracts-
"Letters of Administration of the personal estate of John Kernaghan late of Kilbride County Antrim Farmer who died 20 April 1887 at Ballyclare in said County were granted at Belfast to Eliza Kernaghan of Kilbride the Widow."
and
"Probate of the Will of Eliza Kernaghan late of Kilbride Doagh County Antrim Widow who died 21 May 1915 granted at Belfast to James Kernaghan Farmer."

Have you checked Eliza's Will to see if it included any burial instructions? what about newspaper death notices?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
