His second wife was Ellen ASH of [Dutton Lee?], Ribchester, m 15 Oct 1692 Lancaster St Mary, bur 28 Sep 1741 Wyresdale Chapel or Nov 1748 Wyresdale Chapel (can't work out which, can you?). His 1737 Will leaves "my wife Elling" the "tenement at Dutton Lee". In 1708 he renewed a lease on a farm in Dutton [presumably Dutton Lee] which appears in the Registers of the Estates of Lancashire Papists 1717-1718. I have no idea if he was the Papist, or whether it was the owner of the land. Probably the latter, though some Hs in Overwyresdale were papists.
Richard seems to have had an earlier wife but I have not found the marriage.
Nor have I found his baptism. However I believe him to be the son of Richard H c 17 Feb 1629/30 Lancaster St Mary f. Johnis, bur 23 Jun 1701 Lancaster St Mary as Richard H of Wyresdale. Unfortunately he died intestate, but there is a 1701 Admon for Richard H of Upper Wyresdale, Yeoman, Dowager, which seems to be him, signed by his son Richard, so it is clear he had a son Richard even though the baptism appears to be lost.
Hope this helps. Any info on Hathornthwaites you spot would be much appreciated, particularly H mentions in non-H Wills, which can be helpful but impossible to search for systematically.
Peter
