Hi Dawn,
Alas, they responded with a stock response:
"Thank you for contacting Ancestry in regards to the missing baptism registers.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Thank you for contacting Ancestry. At Ancestry, we are constantly searching for new records that will help our subscribers find their ancestors. There are many factors that go into selecting records to be added to the site. We prioritize our search based on what subscribers tell us they need the most. Of course, once found, not all records are available to us from the archive or repository that holds them. At this time we do not have any specific information to share on the records you’ve asked about. Please check the “What’s New” section of our website often at
http://www.ancestry.com/cs/reccol/default. If you have any questions regarding any other matters pertaining to Ancestry, please do not hesitate to contact us by responding to this email."
(which, of course, misses the point entirely - i.e. they missed those years in their scanning regime)...
Oh well, I've tried replying, but probably to no avail...
Cheers,
Nick
