Hello,

Yes it looks like them at Hillhead. They had one child John Waugh Scott and another John George Scott, unless he dropped the John and stuck to George but nothing further on him yet.

You couldn't let me have the ref numbers for this could you?

Many thanks

Susie J

It is unusual to name 2 sons the same forename - usually that happens when the first one dies
John Waugh Scott is on 1851 census with family and it seems he died 1909 age 66.
I can't find a John or John George b.1854 with the family.
If you had the names from baptism records - could this be John George - belonging to a different couple
Baptism Newcastle Upon Tyne
John George Scott
born 20 Feb 1854
Baptised 16 May 1860 age 6
parents John & Annabella Scott

???
