I agree chandlers, and corn seems usual - but it does not look like corn. Hmm.

She lived at 83 Gold Street, Stepney, which had Redlands Road to the South and Mile End Road/Whitechapel Road to the North. The whole area was bustling with trade.

Corn-chandler - dealer in seed corn, Pumblechook in Charles Dickens "Great Expectations" was a corn-chandler.

Looking at Occupations in the 1881 and 1911 Censuses it will be Corn Chandler. In 1881 there are only Corn, Tallow, Ship, and Wax Chandlers listed. In 1911 Corn, Wax and Ship Chandlers.
