Hi looking for any info on deceased Thomas Jordan emigrated to Australia,came back to England for a family visit around 1964 returned to Australia never saw him again,i know he has a large family out there they are my cousins if any one can help me on this subject i would be most greatfull.kind regards Chris.

I found this death index in the NSW bmd.

22421/1977    JORDON    THOMAS    DIED BURWOOD    079

Do you have a year of birth for Thomas which might help as this fellow was aged 79

On http://naa.gov.au/collection/search/index.aspx there is a Thomas Jordan who arrived in 1956 with a wife and 2 daughters (named).  Could this be him?

As giblet said a birthdate would help and parent's names would help also if known as it is not an uncommon name.

Hi Chris,

There are a couple of Thomas Jordan's who are buried in W.A. post 1964  http://www2.mcb.wa.gov.au/NameSearch/results.php

One was 73 in 1980 and the other was 81 in 2012.

It appears that Thomas Jordan was born circa 1908 (age 3 in 1911 UK census family name is spelt JARDEN); Father William; Mother Martha Baggaley/Baggley

I think Ros may be on to something with Thomas JORDAN death 19/12/1980 (Guildford Cemetery)
