Unknowns, it was at the register office so they could have been dragged in of the street. I did check them out on the 1911 census but there appears to be no kinship to them, possibly acqaintances but that is at best.
Regarding variations on names, I have tried all the ones that you might think of but still nothing pops up. Even tried just putting Phyllis in FreeBMDs and still no joy.
