Hi Everyone

I have an issue with regards to Martha Milward, wife of Edmund Milward, who were born and lived in Pershore, Worcs in the later 1800's.
Edmund was born in 1850. Martha (his wife) was born (depending on which census is accurate) between 1852-54 ... both of them, as previously stated, born in Pershore ... however ...

I just cannot find a marriage record for their marriage or what Martha's maiden name was? They married sometime between 1871-1881 ... Pershore would be the logical place but there's no guarantee on that.

My usual reliable source has let me down, could any kind person 'fill in the missing gaps' please.

There was a marriage at Pershore - Edmund Milward to Martha Blizard - March 1879 - 6 c 333

RG 9 Piece 2106 Folio 58 Page: 16 1861 shows a Martha Blizard born Pershore, Worcestershire 1852 with parents - Timothy and Jane Blizard.

Timothy Blizard 49 Market Gardener. Jane Blizard 37
Mary Ann Blizard 13 Ellen Blizard 11
Martha Blizard 9 Elizabeth Blizard 1
Jane Fleet 65 Mother-In-Law. Widow
Sarah Hares 22 Servant

Timothy Blizard married Jane Fleet at Worcester - 18-743 in Dec 1845.

Martha under Blazard in 1871 living with married sister Mary Ann (Osborne)
Civil parish of Madresfield - Ecclesiastical parish Guarlford Worcestershire
Registration district Upton On Severn.   RG10 Piece 3055 Folio 47 Page 3

Mary Ann C Blizard had married Alfred John Osborne  Droitwich - 6 c 403 in March 1867.

Alfred J Osborne 23  and Mary A C Osborne 23
Florence A Osborne 1
Sarah J Leary 16
Martha Blazard 16

Brilliant information ... I did see a possibility of her name being Blizard and I'm really excited that it is Blizard because a brother of Edmund married a Blizard ... now I can put on the 'detective hat' and try and find the 'Blizard link' between the wives of the two Milward brothers.

Did come across Edith Priscilla Blizard married to John Milward  - Pershore Worcestershire 6C 560
Q2 Apr/May/June 1872

A Stephen Blizard married Prudence Harris - Alcester 16 - 209  - March 1849
Stephen died Q1 1859 Pershore Worcestershire. 6c 248.
Died 2 February 1859 - Probate Date 5 May 1859

Edith Priscilla who married John Milward was the daughter of this marriage.
