found my uncle today name john reece born 1919 liverpool i think he married in 1943.
What was his wifes name. any help welcome.

Hiya Bernie...1943 was during WW2 - did he marry in Liverpool area ?...can only find one
 John E Reece marries in Birkenhead to A Illingworth
was your uncle John E Reece ? or was your uncle John Reece b 1919 mothers maiden name Gribbin ?

Thanks for replying.Yeruncle john reece b 1919 mothers maiden catherine gribbin not sure about his marriage date.
Just trying to find out his wifes maiden name.

If you know the names of any of their children you can look up the birth on freebmd which will give you mothers maiden name

As any children are probably still alive - details cannot be posted here

Freebmd has coverage into the 1950's but you only need one birth to solve the problem
