Hi LeCren

Welcome to Rootschat!

You need to make one more post before the Personal Message facility opens up for you.

Just reply to this with "Thanks" and see what happens.   ;D

Hi there,  I have no idea how this works, but if you are interested, I am a direct descendent of Augustus William Le Cren.  He was my great, great grandfather.

Hi Charlie

Welcome to Rootschat  ;D

Bruce, the original poster, should receive email notifications that we have posted and hopefully come back.

Once he has replied, it might be better for you to discuss 'living' family members off-forum. You can start by using the personal message system, click on the icon under a users name that looks like a clip-board. If it's glowing bright green there is a good chance the other person may be on-line.

Happy hunting.

Hi Charlie.

Augustus is my... great great Grandfather.
Bruce, the one who messaged for you earlier, is my Uncle.
I have a really foggy idea of our history... How do you connect to the family?
Attached is a family tree.
Message me on Facebook or email.

Hi Matt

Welcome to Rootschat  ;D

Charlie hasn't been online here since October 2013 but I sent him a message swaying you had posted. Hopefully he'll come back soon.

If not and your post count is 3 or above you can send him a personal message (as mentioned before)

If you haven't already, please take a moment to read our guidelines for posting here, we do have a 'no living people' policy so you might want to tweak your image
