Hi Suzy,

Thats great news. Have just checked, and we do not have a photo of Edward Watkins either.

Hello Phil & Matt,

Do you have photographs of:

John Robertson DODDS?

William Alexander HAMMOND?

Also, are you by any chance interested in WW1 nurses? My great-aunt, Jean Curle DODDS  was among the first fifty nurses to leave New Zealand to serve overseas.

There's someone in Australia trying to track any Chinese  servicemen from WW1. Has anyone come across any of these men? I know there were men from WW11 - but didn't think there were any WW1 servicemen.

Hi Minniehaha,

We published a photo of John Robertson Dodds in Volume 1, from the Auckland Weekly News, but if you have a better photo we would love a copy.

We have recorded a photograph of William Alexander Hammond in the the Otago Witness, but once again, if you have an original photo of William we would be thrilled to use it.

And yes, the 500+ nurses of the NZEF are being included, and as yet we have not recorded a photo for Jean Curle Dodds, so would love a copy of that too!

Regards
Matt

Hi Helen,

There were some men of Chinese descent who served in the NZEF, in fact we were sent a photo of 54750 Pte. Eang King How-Chow just 2 days ago!

If you like just scan as best you can and we can crop out your relative.

Hello.

I will have access to several photos. It will just be a case of finding the time to hunt out old projects and possibly contact some relatives. Plus check off the names against suitable portrait's held.

What I would appreciate is some preferred guidelines re the quality of the scanning. Do you have size and resolution ideals / guidelines ?
