My dad in the centre. He lost his left foot in WW2 and has an artificial leg . The chap on his right seems to have a similar walk to my dad and I think he may have an artificial right leg.

My Grandfather is in both group photos and I wonder if he was there on two separate times, he is also the one of the two men in the photo with the cars in the background, he is the one on the right and it looks like he is wearing the same suit in all photos, if anyone can tell me the year from the cars that would be great.

The car with the CC registration plate in the photo with your Grandfather was registered in Caernarvonshire. As there was little motor car manufacture in the war years, the cars are likely to be 20's or 30's. Unfortunately this doesn't help you date the photo more accurately.
I am going to contact the Hospital Saturday Fund to see if they have any records of when Plas Mariandir may have been used in the war years. Eric
