john thomas benjimin allder(his wife was born 1870, so am assuming he is about that date)he was born, hoxton,married in 1890 in rochdale lancashire,any help with his family please father mother siblings etc,thank you for looking

Have you got him in censuses after his marriage , if so what age is he then?  Better than 'assuming' !

Having said that - where did is place of birth come from if NOT from a later census?

I guess that is where this info has come from. You could ave jst asked on there for how old he was on 1901.
But rather than confuse things, I'll have another look at 1901 and see if it says, and then can continue on here.
