They are supposed to have been married in 1911 but I can only find an entry for him in the Salisbury registration district. Help please.

This was just before the index started matching brides and grooms by surname - that started in 1912. However, the other change happened at the beginning of 1910 - the index stopped listing full middle names and started giving middle initials only.
So if you searched for them separately at FreeBMD, and asked for a marriage for Florence Mary Noyce, you wouldn't find it - because FreeBMD's searches are essentially "exact" and would not find anything for "Florence Mary" in 1911, only for "Florence M".
(At Ancestry, you will get "fuzzy matches", so that search would have worked there.)
