I have found (what looks like) John on a few census - wife Elizabeth- Do you require this kind of information?

i am looking for any info on john . i know he was a gardener he had a son daniel who is my great grandfather when he retired he moved to his sons house in audley staffs thats what i have so far

parents George Maddocks and Anne
couldn`t find a 1818 baptism / birth
I don`t suppose he could have been b 1816 ? ..
is your John Maddocks  down as b 1818 in Malpas in 1861 census ,living in Mickley,Shropshire ???

the 1861 census has got him b.1818 malpas wife elizabeth b.whitchurch but civil parish is mickley

Hi, Calibra, can't find an obvious Malpas baptism for John.  However given that his wife Elizabeth states born Whitchurch I looked on familysearch and there is a marriage for a John Maddocks to an Elizabeth Harrison on 31.12.1846 in Whitchurch.  This states his fathers name as John and hers as Thomas.
Also a longshot there is a baptism of a John Maddocks in Malpas on 8.6.1822 with a father John and mother Elizabeth, John senior is a labourer and their residence is Bickley.  This is from the Cheshire Parish Registers.
