 Could anyone inform me if the above was born Ellen Elizabeth Holder b Somerset 1881 then married a William A Phillips 1902 and after William died married a Albert  E Saunders in 1918.

I found an Ellen Elizabeth M Holder b. Chippenham, Wilthshire in 1882

Certainly an Ellen Elizabeth M Holder married William Atherley Phillips in 1902, and an Ellen E M Phillips married an Albert E Saunders in 1918 but can't confirm whether its your Ellen, born in Somerset or this one born in Chippenham

The only Somerset birth reg for Ellen Elizabeth Holder c1881 (with no middle initial M) is this one

I am only asking as there is a Admin for
Ellen Elizabeth Matilda Phillips in 1942 and one of the people mentioned is Mary Atherly Moyes wife of Thomas Philip Moyes.  (It looks as though Mary married in Canada if an Ancestry hint is to be believed)

I have seen her marriage to Albert Saunders in Balham 

Ellen Elizabeth Matilda Phillips - father William Edwin Miles Holder.

It looks as though she reverted to her previous married name.

You mentioned a Mary Atherley Phillips b1904 Ellen's daughter.....after the 1911 census I could not find any trace of her....so I you suggesting she upped sticks and was married in Canada???
