St Mary Rotherhithe marriages
« on: Tuesday 02 April 13 18:44 BST (UK) »
Hi

I'm wondering if someone can do a look up for me on the St Mary Rotherhithe parish register for a marriage between a Joseph (Josiah) Bellamy and Elizabeth ... probably somewhere between 1743 and 1747.

He may be listed as being from Cheshunt in Hertfordshire or possibly Charles Parish, Plymouth, Devon.

Unfortunately, I can't find anything through the usual routes.

Thanks in advance  :)

Hi

You have posted on the Surrey Completed Look Up Requests Board so not so many Rootschatters will have spotted your post. There are no marriages showing for a Joseph Bellamy at St Mary Rotherhithe or adjacent parishes within 10 years of 1746.

Family Search has two possibles both a couple of years earlier.
Kings Lynn Norfolk 1740 Elizabeth Morley
Westminster 1741 Elizabeth Harfor?

Hi

I could just move the topic onto the Surrey Look Up Board so no need to repost, but the Look Up has been done and the marriage hasn't been found at St Mary Rotherhithe so it looks completed as far as the Surrey Board is concerned.
