Maybe the recipient needs to post 3 times too, so here's my third post.

I too am a descendent of Samuel Stilling - not sure if it is something to be proud of or not! My great grandmother was Isabella Livingstone, wife of the Reverend Hugh. Just discovered this site when googling Reichenbach Noumea as I am visiting Noumea soon and thought there might be something to see in relation to the Reichenbachs who lived there. I'm not sure how this site works so I hope I've posted this in the right spot - (perhaps I should read the instructions first?).

He was Thomas William Stilling, not Samuel.
His daughter Isabella married Rev Hugh Livingstone - I am in touch with another descendant of Isabella.
Thomas Stilling's daughter Ellen  Elizabeth (Nelly) married Samuel Reichenbach in Noumea, from whom my husband is descended.
I have a photo of Samuel's headstone in a Noumea cemetery.  It is not a very clear photo.

Hi Simon
I have a connection here to Eileen (sic) Moira Lawrenson. She was my third cousin and I have researched the family for some time. You are probably aware that she was of Irish stock from Co. Wicklow and Dublin. I have copies of correspondence from her in the 1970's if you are interested.

Hi HBelle,
Samuel Reichenbach is on Findagrave. I requested a photo 2 yrs ago but nobody has come forth.
wondered if you might like to add yours?

Do you happen to know where Rev Hugh Roy Livingstone is buried?  Its not him in 1934. that's an infants grave with a father of Donald.

Many thanks
Margaret
