I've done a little more digging, to see if I could find a link to my tree (all the old North Meols families are related).
John Gregory Threlfall's 5xgreat grandparents were my 7xgreat grandparents, William Hodges & Anne Wright, their grand daughter, Anne Hodges, married John Threlfall (son of John) in 1783. This couple's son, John Threlfall, married Ellen Johnson. This couple were parents of Thomas Threlfall, who married Nancy Jackson, and Thomas & Nancy were parents of Henry, who married Elizabeth Gregson. This couple were parents of Henry, who married Ellen Gregory.
Going back to the early family. Ann Wright, who married Henry Hodges, was daughter of Henry Wright (1665-1722) and Elizabeth Oarme. Henry Wright was son of Richard Wright, born c1640.

In the name of God Amen the fifth day of March in the Year of our Lord god one Thousand Seaven Hundred and Twenty two I Henry Wright of South Hawes in North Meols Within the County of Lancaster fisherman being very weake & infirm of Body but of Sound and perfect memory praised be God do make and ordain this my Last will and Testament as followeth first I bequeath my Soul into the Hands of almighty>
god by whose merits I trust to be Saved and my Body to the Earth to be Decently entered at the Discration of my executors herein after named after which done it is my will & mind that my debts And funerall Expenses and Charges of the Probat of this my will be first paid & Deducted out of my whole personall Estate after which I Give and Dispose of the Remaining part of my said personall Effects which God hath Blessed me in this Life in this following manner & form
but first & most principally Whereas I stand Lawfully possed of a Smale Cottage and Tenent in South Hawes aforesaid which said Cottage I have Assigned over unto Certaine Trustees and hath Given granted and Assigned over the said Cottage unto Richard Wright my Son & heire with several proviso?e therein mentioned Now I do hereby will and Give and devise of the Remaining part of my said Goods & personalitys of what is over and above paying my said Debts in this manner & form as following First it is my will & mind & I doe Give & bequeath unto my Beloved wife Ellizabeth Wright my Cow and if it happen there be any overplush of said Goods overpaying my said Debts I do Give & bequeath ye same amongst four of my Children that is to say John Thomas Ellin & Dorathy Equall amongst the said four Children then it is my will and I do Give to my Son John two pounds I Give to William my Son Twenty Shillings To Henry my son I Give Twenty Shillings I Give to Thomas my youngst Son theirty Shillings I Give & bequeath to Dorathy my Daughter Twenty Shillings Item I give to Ann my daughter ye wife of William Hoges Tenn Shillings and I do give to her Three Children Tenn Shillings Equally amongst them Item I Give to Margaret my Daughter the wife of Peter Swift Tenn Shillings and I give also to her Three Children Tenn Shillings Equally amongst them Item I give to Elizabeth my wife Twenty Shillings a yea>
r dureing her Natural Life if she keeps her Selfe unmarried but in Case She happen to marrie againe then I will my Son Richard to pay her five Shillings & be aquitted But in case my said goods &... will not Reach to pay my said Debts and these Legacies afore mentioned to be Given as aforesaid then it is my will & mind that Richard my Son pay the Said Severall debts Legacies out of That Twenty pounds that I have Charged him to pay my said Cottage that I have already Assigned over to Richard my Son at the time or times that are therein mentioned for payment of the said Twenty in the assignment and it is my mind & will that Richard my Son pay the product of the said Twenty pound what is over paying the said Legacies Equally emoungst all my Said Children or as many Shall happen to be alive at the said time ...of payment in the said Assgment and Lastly I do nominate appoint & name Richard Wright & John Wright my sons my Sole Executors of this my Last will & Testament hoping they will See the same truely Executed as my trust in them is makeing void all other former wills or testaments by me here to fore made after witness whereof I the Said Henry Wright hath here unto set my hand & Seale the day & year above written Henery Wright (he signed)
