Yes I had been through that site, tis how I knew he had retired by 1891. So Jim you are saying it could just push up to late 70's/ early 80's. If those are the kids Tootsiepie found, and it looks possible, would you say the girl looks about 6/7, so making it about 1878/9.

 ;D ;D ;D   My father and his brother were still wearing similar sailor suits in 1920 George     ;) ;)   Except they were wearing shorts with their sailor tops!   And no Australia isn't 30-40 years behind in the fashions. ;)

Sailor suits were around for several decades, Wiggs....so sad for all those generations of kids that got stuck with wearing them...

Not as bad as the Buster Brown suits or the Fauntleroy outfits though :P :P :P :P
