Hi

My late Aunt was a Bannister from Burnley. I was told many years ago that she was a cousin of Roger Bannister, but from the research that I've done so far, it seems that she must have been a distant cousin. I've come a bit stuck, and I see you mentioned that you've done a Bannister family tree. Can you help at all?

Bob

My grandad was his cousin and I think my gran might have a family tree somewhere tracing the family back to the 1700's, it  might have some information about it.

Hi, according to my late great-grandmother I am related to Roger Bannister. I would like to try to find out more about this line. I have a family tree which mentions a Bannister marriage but I don't really have much information. If anyone could send me information concerning this line for the mid-late nineteenth century and early twentieth century I'd be really grateful.

I am trying to help my Boyfriend figure out his family tree as he has been told that he is related to sir roger bannister (and he looks just like him) His grandad was called William bannister and his father was called Robert bannister. I believe that William bannister was Sir Roger Bannisters brother he would of been in his late 90's now if he was alive and Robert would have been in his early 80's can anyone help as I know he would really like to know more about his family!

I am related to Roger Bannister.  My Great Grandad James Wilson was married to Roxana Bannister.  Her father's dad who was John, had a brother David.  David is the father of Ralph, who is the father of Sir Roger

Hi, my husband has been told by family that he is related to Roger Bannister. Could any of you help that are related or have a tree please?

He has the ancestor Rose May Bannister born 8th March 1892 Whitechapel, died 1971 Outer Norwich, Norfolk.  Married to a Charles G Dye born 1887. Rose's father was Charles Bannister - that is all I have.

Can anyone shed any light on this relative or line?

Thanks.
