Yes ballyannan can be spelt a few ways, also ballyannin & ballyannon,

Reading the pages of your tree, heres some updated information:
Cornelius Kidney (b. c1861) married Johannah OLeary on 28th November 1895 in Carrigtwohill RC Church.

Cornelius Kidney died in 1933, aged 61 years (born c1872). The informant was his son Timothy.

I am sure i have a kidney in a baptism record as a witness just need to check it out either wade or foote
