Ooops.....too late......just worked for many hours and have deleted lots. Well, they're in the recycling bin, not totally deleted.

I've restored all the photos and they're all ok, none lost.   :)   Apart from some images of parish records I've found over the past 3 weeks but they may be on my history on FindMyPast.

The photos actually came up with a message something like "file empty", not quite what I quoted earlier.  The documents are the ones which had the corrupt file message. Some of them were pdf files. I did download the necessary.....whatever it is....adobe reader, adobe flash, java script.....and some of the pdfs were ok and some of the documents were ok.  At the moment they're sitting in the recycling bin. Haven't quite got the courage to totally delete them, just in case.
