Help needed if possible Re WW Medals
« on: Friday 22 March 13 20:51 GMT (UK) »
Hi
Im trying to retrace some medals stolen from me while i lived in norfolk uk
by the name of "Timbers O J) essex reg , bn Bacton.
Not sure what to do or were to start to retrieve them as it seems that it was over 15 yrs ago
Only just came to light since started doing family tree .
These are of sentimental value as a sad story happened
They were probably sold many years ago at a car-boot sale or flea market
If anyone could help i would be very grateful.
Rob

Hi

If they were stolen in a burglary or similar, the chances are they may have been sold locally. It might be worth writing a letter to the local paper, you never know someone might see it and know something about them.
