Compare photos to see if its the same man

I am attaching two head and shoulders photographs and Caron (another member) will also be posting two other similar photos.  Could someone look and compare all four photographs at the same time to see if it is possible that they are all of the same person.  Your expertise and advise would be greatly appreciated.  Many thanks.  PU

Looks like it to me, or closely related ~ same eyes, similar hairline

The hair curls in the same direction and the right eyes look the same, I would say it is the same man.

These are the two pictures that PU wants to see if they are the same man in my photograph album. I believe my pictures to be William and John Mayhew as I have their military documents that confirm the medals and stripes.  What do you think?  Are they the same man?

I think he's the same man also, all features match, even nostrils showing same amount,  :)

Thank you everyone who has replied, for your help so far.
Can I ask you please, if you would kindly look at now the four separate images at the same time together on replies 4 & 5 (from Caron and myself, P U) to see if you think, it is at all possible that they are all of the same person,as I believe they are.

Having had a closer look...My guess would be that  1 & 4 are the same person and 2 & 3 are the same person...could they be related?
