I have only recently come across this site and consequently this post enquiring about Gavin Greenshields.  My grandfather, Gavin James Greenshields, was a farmer at Fountainhall and my mother was his daughter Agnes (Nan).  I am sure after this length of time you have received any information you may need but if not I am more than willing to share anything I have - old photos, obituary for James Thomas Greenshields etc.  I look forward to hearing from you.

I am so pleased to hear from you.  Your grandfather and my grandfather, Maynard Graham, were first cousins.  James Thomas Greenshields and Helen Watson Greenshields (my grandfather's mother) were siblings. Helen and her husband, David Graham, emigrated to South Dakota, USA, where Helen died in 1923.  I would very much like to share information with you. Please email me at ^(*)
