Marriage information please - Fletcher

Hello, I recently posted on the Leicestershire board, looking for help with a mystery on where the name 'Fermer' came from which was my great grandfather's middle name.

I don't want to confuse matters but if it helps this my original posting

I wondered if someone might be able to look up any more information on the two Nottinghamshire marriages please :


"Have found a possible marriage 23 May 1836 James Fletcher Ann Pepper St Nicholas Nottm, couldn't find a ref post 1837 generally or pre 1837 in Leics and thought I would look across the border"


"marriage on family search:

William Fletcher = Margaret Furmer 22/4/1805 St Marys, Notts

must be where the Fermer/Farmer /Furmer comes from. maybe someone on the Npotts board could check the original for you. see spelling there".

I hope this all makes sense and that someone may be able to help please

Is anyone able to look up the marriage of William and Margaret please to see if these are the same people?

Will the marriage record give me anymore information?
