Sherston Magna baptism - SHERWOOD

I'm trying to find the parents of William Sherwood, who I believe was baptised on 9 September 1781 at Sherston Magna.   I'd be most grateful if anyone who has access to Sherston PRs could confirm the baptism, parents and any siblings.

But its only a submitted entry.

I haven't any baptism  transcripts for Sherston Magna but in the marriage records there is a marriage for;
John Sherwood to  Mary Dickenson 14-5-1776  that is a possible as I couldn't see any others
before William's birth in 1781.
In case you missed it, William's surname is listed as Shearwood when he married  Ann Stickler 29-3-1802 in Sherston.
Other Shearwoods who married around the 1800s are James 1809 (Ann Hawkins) & 1815 as a widower Mary Rice, John  1814 (Mary Neal), Robert 1814 (Anne Evans),
 
Sherwood; Thomas 1804 (Sarah Power)

All in Sherston Magna.

Hi Dave

There is a marrage in Sherston Magna between John Shearwood and Katherine Rice on 14th May 1776. I have the name Rice in my family tree, from Sherston, but not a Katherine. That said, the name Rice was very common in Sherston.

Thank you Dave I'll look into it.   The only Rice I have is Susannah Rice born 1839 in Sherston Magna.   She married Job Snell in 1866.

As you know the parents of William Sherwood born 9th December 1771, were John Sherwood and Mary Dickinson married on 14th May 1776  in Sherston Magna, John was born about 1750. this information came from Philip Sherwood who has a web site called Descendants of John Sherwood. I am a descendant of John Sherwood.
