Can any one help please with the birth record of James Sturrock B Mortimer? He was born about 1928 in Blythswood Lanarkshire. James died in Bedford Bedfordshire in 2011.

Thank you

Is this the same person you asked about previously? If so, you will need to get the Scottish birth certificate (Monica has given you information about this)

I have found the record on ScotlandsPeople, however there is no image, only the information you have, plus a Statutory Births No. 644/10 0277

There is always a 100 year rule on being able to view births online on SP. Current cut off is 1912, increasing by a year every year.

aghadowey has linked to the other post. Not a lot really we can do to help for now unfortunately...

Someone may be able to help further if they are visiting one of the main Scottish genealogy centres for their own research. The only other option, as has been discussed already, would be to order the cert via SP.
