Found a birth where? George Dodds born in Manchester, ENGLAND. It does not look like an English reference. So, is the record you found in Canada?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Vbain I think your information would be easier for people to understand if you gave more information in your replies.  Remember that most people who are asking for help are not familiar with Canadian records and sources.

For example you might try the following format:
From the Ontario Vital Statistics Project there are 2 birth registrations which might be of interest.
1.  Birth of William George Dodd, 15 May 1905 Peel Co., s/o George Dodd and Annie Coates.  Father a labourer and living at Snelgrove
2.  Birth of Wilfred Norman Dadd, 18 Mar 1890 Toronto, s/o George Dodd and Ada Craggs.

This gives the basic information found on the Ontario Vital Statistics Project in a format that is easily understood and it also gives the source of the information posted.  The numbers you quoted reference the Ontario Registration numbers for the births and just confuse the issue as you don't use them to look up the records.

I hope this helps you to continue searching and adding information you find to queries.

Added:
FindAGrave has cemetery entries at Saint John Norway Cemetery Toronto for George F. Dodd (1856-1921) and wife Ada Craggs Dodd (1857-1935).  Dates of birth eliminate this couple from consideration.
Marriage registration on 15 Apr 1903 Caledon Peel, for George Dodd, 29, b. Canada, living Snelgrove, s/o Elisah Dodd and Louisa Wise to Annie E. Coates, 19, b. Canada, livng Snelgrove also eliminates this couple due to place of birth and parentage for George.

The only anomaly are the parents names that George gives on the marriage to Ada.
They should be James George Dodd and Sarah Endsor, his mother died in 1891 and his father remarried.

The Manchester marriage record for James and Sarah's marriage indicates Sarah was a widow and her father's name was listed as Thomas Smith. Sarah's first husband appears to have been named Thomas Endsor. Of course that doesn't help with this problem however I will add that over the course of my research I have seen a number of marriage registrations where the names of the parents were wrong for no apparent reason.

Thanks for clarifying that cosmac.

Maybe George was just being mischievous by stating his mother to be Elizabeth Trotter.

Would appreciate a nudge when the 1921 census is released.

Thanks to all.
