1841/51 Dorset lookup please.
« on: Monday 06 June 05 14:28 BST (UK) »
Hiya,
If any one has either of the above census would it be possible for a lookup please?
Im trying to find a GEORGE SHEPPARD (may be spelt differently) and wife TRYPHENA, in either Hawkchurch or possibly Thorncombe, Dorset.
I've no idea of age for George but Tryphena was born c.1783.
Any help would be much appreciated as I've been at this brick wall for far too long now!!
Thanks
Demelza  :)

Hi

I have had a look at the 1841 census and found this

Tryphena Sheperd, age 50, FS born in county

she was living with a family called Moore?? not very clear.

address Coombe Street
parish of Lyme Regis

HO 107 0294

I cant find an obvious George Shepperd. Maybe she was widowed ?
