That church is 3 miles from me ...a beautiful Cast Iron church ..and there are still Boocock family in my area
google St Michaels in the Hamlet and view the church ...it is a stunning piece of architecture

This looks like our chap!

Thomas Briggs Bowcock,
born 17th October 1855,
baptised 17th November 1858, at St George, Hulme

son of Thomas & Elizabeth Bowcock, (late Chapman), who were married Cathedral 1844.
Address: Waters Street Manchester; father a Porter

A very helpful vicar putting all those details on the Parish Register!
