George's wife Florence Goddard who he married in 1894 remarried to a John Brooks Dec. 1898.They had a daughter Florence abt. 1905 + 1 other that died.Her 2 children Rosina & George from her marriage to George Snipe stayed with her & her new husband.

Just to add to Jim's findings.  Rosina was baptised 17/7/1895, Birmingham.  George's birth was registered Q4 1897, Birmingham RD, so, as the incident happened in July 1897 this was the baby she was pregnant with at the time of George's death.
I couldn't see how we could contact this lady to pass on this information.  Any ideas?

Hi Dawn & Trystan,
I found the contact details for the BBC Birmingham & Black Country page & sent them an email last night asking how we can contact Karen Hancox so I'll let you know what comes back.  It would be a shame not to pass that on as she was obviously wanting to know what happened to his wife & children  :)
