Hi folks,

I'm Jan's other half.  Just phoned her to let her know of the developments as she's at work - she'd be very interested in swapping info with you Shanko.  How did you know about Keziah ?  We didn't know about Charlotte.

Rick.

William wasn't a jeweller when Charlotte was married

Plus Charlotte had no middle name, all birth certificates of her children only have Charlotte same as her marriage and on all other census

This is a great thread.  A warm welcome to you Rick  ;D

I've been looking at the IGI and there is a Matilda Mason christened  26 NOV 1851   St Mary's, Lambeth, Surrey her parents are William Cottrell Mason and mother Elizabeth.

Any sign of Matilda's in the family?

Pam,

No Matilda at all in the family line Im afraid :(

I actually put in a post a long time ago on here regarding Masons but didnt get anywhere then. I did however find a William and Keziah Mason as parents but they were born and bred in Cambs so that put that at a dead end
