HI everyone

I have just stumbled across this post. John and Elizabeth Fritz, Rosina Hyde's (Fritz) parents are my Great Great Grandparents.

I am researching my family tree but have not started looking into the Hyde family yet, maybe you can help.

Nick

Hi Nick,
On my family record I have Rosana Fritz as daughter of John and Elizabeth Fritz, married about 1842;  Rosana was born 24 August 1842. She married Henry William Hyde in 1867 - (They are my husband's Gt Grandparents).

Henry and Rosana's 5th child was Rosina Maria Hyde born 1875. She married Robert William Andrews in 1895.  They had 4 children.

Hi Pamela-Anne

Thanks for the reply and sorry for the delay in responding.

It looks like we are related 3rd cousins (I think). Do you have any information or photographs of Rosina and William?

I have a copy of the parish record for their marriage, tried to attach but the file was too big.

Nick

Hello Nick,

You are probably right in that we could be 3rd cousins, - must admit to getting "lost" when it comes to figuring who's related to who.   It's a bit like the song "I'm my own Grandpa" !!
No, we don't have a photograph - wish we did, but I suppose for so many in that era, people didn't own a camera and/or couldn't always afford to have photographs taken.
How far did you get with your family researching ??

It may be better to send documents via email rather than posting them here.

You can exchange email addresses through the personal message (PM) system which you can access by clicking on the clipboard type icon under a users name and avatar. If it is glowing green, there is a good chance the other person may be online.

Hope this helps.
