do you mean record office or where a death would be registered? Death would have been registered at Pontypridd at that time. Mountain Ash was a subdistrict.

Hi Osprey it would be where the death was registered. I am trying to narrow it down as I only have Jane Jenkins born c1866 Cardiganshire living at Mountain Ash Road Abercynon in the 1911 census..
 Thank you.

possible death regs

Jane Jenkins 54 march qtr 1919 Pontypridd vol 11a pg 980

or not such a good match for age

Jane Jenkins 54 june qtr 1922 Pontypridd vol 11a pg 557

What are you hoping to find out from the death cert?

Hi Osprey thanks again for the information. Its a long shot was hoping to see if her birth date and place of birth are on the certificate.

those details wouldn't appear on a death cert at that time. Date of birth started to show for deaths registered from 1970 onwards.
