Henry Joseph JONES, Sudbury, Nipissing, Ontario after 1911

Helen Marjorie Jones McKibbin died on April 2 2000 at Scarborough Centenary Hospital.  In her 100th year.  Sister of Evelyn Hatton and the late Robert Jones.  Nieces are M J McMullen and E Armstrong.  Nephew D Jones.

Many thanks to you all for your responses.

I have been able to piece together most to the information here but as of yet I have been unable to make a present day connection.

I have come to have a number of old photos from the late 1800s early 1900s which originate in Canada and a number of them relate to this family.

The obituary of Helen Marjorie does throw up a new lead in the nephew , D Jones. This presumably is Robert Jones's son. We were unsure if this gentleman had married but this appear to suggest that he did.

This Robert I have been unable to trace beyond 1937 when he is mentioned as the informant for his uncles death. He may have lived at that time in Queenstown Ontario.

Toronto Star April 3, 1937, page 26 - marriage announcement.

Robert Henry Jones, only son of Mr and Mrs Henry Jones, married Ruth Marguerite Schrag, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Roland Schrag.  Wedding was on April 2 1937 at Metropolitan United Church in Toronto.  Was performed by the groom's brother in law, Noble Hatton (so this is the correct marriage for your Robert Jones).  Says they will reside in Queenston.

Looks like Robert died in 1987.  Buried in Fergus, Ontario

Citney's obituary in 1962 (Toronto Star 11 June 1962, page 30) says Marjorie is in Manotick, Evelyn is in Toronto and Robert is in Georgetown.

Henry Joseph's obituary in the Toronto Star on Oct 21 1942, page 28... says he died at his home 323 Runnymeade on the 20th of October.  At this time, Marjorie is in Georgetown, Evelyn is in Toronto and Robert is in Georgetown.

Hope this helps to follow Robert's whereabouts since the last sighting you had of him in 1937
