My pc has developed a mind of its own!!!

My main pc is an old one using Windows XP.  I have a laptop (also with Outlook Express) which has Windows 7.

Likewise, my main computer is XP with laptop windows 7.
I use hotmail and being with Virgin (my internet provider) Googlemail.
I have migrated my hotmail to Outlook, and left Googlemail as is.
Both of the mail services above store my messages in the clouds rather than on my computers.
I would suggest a hotmail type account as an alternative, see how you get on.

You can of course use the well respected Thunderbird.

Have a look at the other post re 'Live Mail', imported Outlook Express.
