My pc has developed a mind of its own!!!

My browser home page and my e-mail programme keep opening multiple times when I don't want them.  I've tried scanning for viruses - and tried changing my browser and also Go Back, but nothing helps.

Does anyone please have any suggestions?

Thank you Carol.  It's worked for Internet Explorer and Firefox but not for Outlook Express. I have no idea why this has started happening, I haven't changed any of my settings.

Do you still have the disc...you could try uninstalling Outlook then re-install it.
I'm a techno numpty so that's all I can think of.

Thank you Midase.  Outlook Express seems to be behaving itself this morning.

You do appreciate that 'Outlook Express' is an unsupported mailing system.
Most providers are recommending others.

I didn't now it was unsupported.  Never had any problems with it before.  Is there one you can recommend?

What version of windows have you?
Windows 7 could use 'Outlook', replacing 'Hotmail' or others.
