Hi

Im searching for any information on Amelia Sarll born 1859 surname could also be Francis, she is listed on 1861c living with her mother Mary Ann Francis  b1839 and her grandparents William and Mary Ann.

Mary Ann m James Yallop 1868 and had son James T b1869,  then marr my ggrandfather Henry James Sarll in 1870 they went on to have several children of whom i have details. Amelia is listed on 1871c as Sarll

any help would be appreciated

Hi Cavvy

I'm doing a spot of housekeeping and I wondered if you were still looking for information for Amelia FRANCIS. 

Do you have her birth certificate?  If not you will need the GRO reference.  The GRO indexes can be searched at any LDS Family History Centre worldwide, and County Record Offices and main libraries in the UK.  Some of them are available online using the shared database of FreeBMD and Ancestry.co.uk.  Once the reference is located, certificates can be ordered online at the General Record Office.

According to the 61 census she was born in Oulton, which is in Mutford Registration District.
