Foleshill.
« on: Wednesday 20 February 13 11:40 GMT (UK) »
I have found some of my family living at Roadway, Foleshill, Bedworth in the 1871 census, I have tried searching for where Ringway was situated but with no luck. I would be grateful for any help.

You will find it is now Park Road which goes off Coventry Road next to the cemetery.

Let me know if you need any more Bedworth info, most of my family are from there and also a friend of mine had family who lived in Roadway.

But, Al in Vane knows an awful lot too!  So between us we should be able to help.
I've done some work on Exhall parish registers - Exhall is between Bedworth and Foleshill.

I have family recorded as living at Roadway too (HERITAGE & possibly HARRISON).  Found these pics which I thought you might like to see :)

I would say that with the wide windows they were built as weavers houses.

Sorry forgot to ask, what date were the pictures taken approximately?
The families I am researching are Archer, Lloyd, Jacques and Thompson.

The houses are long gone.
I have known/know quite a lot of people with those names in the Nuneaton/Bedworth area over the years.
