There's a Cross townland outside the town of Ballymoney (Co. Antrim) not far from the River Bann and there were Kennedys there. I am remotely connected to them- have a family tree back to George Kennedy (c1775-1857) but no Sarah that could be the one you are looking for but there could be gaps in the research that was done.

Found this birth record- an Alexander Moggy born c1831 Ballymoney Parish-

Sarah Moggy- also bapt. 1831-

Charlottle Moggey bapt. 1829-
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/F5PN-581

Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Sarah Moggie nee McKendrick was my great-great-great-grandmother. She was married to William Moggie who I believe came to Scotland from Ireland.

Be aware that Mogey is another spelling of the surname - should anyone go looking on google or another search engine, it may bring back some new hits.

The 1803 agricultural report shows all the "Mogey" households clustered in the north of County Antrim, in the consecutive civil parishes of Ballymoney, Derrykeighan, and Billy.
