Jonathon Price and Alice Wright marriage 1869

Jonathon is my 2nd times grandfather I have Jonathon and Alice's marriage license and I am intrigued as to where they resided at the time of their marriage can anyone throw any light on Door Stones or Stowes Haslingdon?

Possibly "Haslingden"? Have you tried a Lancs Parish Clerks online search? There's also somewhere called "Dove Stones" I vaguelly recall.
Threlfall (Southport), Isherwood (lancs & Canada), Newbould + Topliss(Derby), Keating & Cummins (Ireland + lancs), Fisher, Strong& Casson (all Cumberland) & Downie & Bowie, Linlithgow area Scotland . Also interested in Leigh& Burrows,(Lancashire) Griffiths (Shropshire & lancs), Leaver (Lancs/Yorks) & Anderson(Cumberland and very elusive)

The Marriage took place in Bacup in the Haslingden Registration District so it's probably a bacup address not a Haslingden one.
