I feel like a gate-crasher Dee
I don't even know what a "y t" is? I did a google search and it suggested either "are you there" or "you tube". But I don't think they are related to a liquor licence.
Perhaps I have missed the point ...? (it's a worry)
cheers,
Ros
Oh no Ros....definitely don't feel like a gate crasher. This is a mini -meet for any RootsChatters who would like to join in a mini-meet in Sydney and are able do so.

I will explain the YT reference though. There's a few of us who post on The Australian Board who also post on Totally Off Topic, and in particular on the YTG thread. It's where we relax and joke around and share chat that has nothing to do with family history. It started off as there's some of us who can't type fast enough to keep up on the Chat board, and was named because of a joke about drinking wine, in particular Australian Yellow Tail wines. YTG stands for Yellow Tail Gang/Group/Gaggle/Guys/Gals or whatever, and through our participation some of us have developed very good caring friendships. However, quite a few of us, me included, don't even drink alcoholic beverages.
But I'll emphasise that this is not a YTG meet....it's a RootsChatters meet, so no need for anyone to feel anything but really welcome.

I've been involved in several mini-meets in Brisbane when I've been visiting up there; the first starting off in an old cemetery!

They were all very memorable and happy occasions, with lots and lots of chat, and lots of laughs as well.
I'm really looking forward to meeting more of you folk I "see" on here.

Dee
