You've done a great job on this Dee.  Thank you.

Can I suggest we find a place where people can sit and wait for each other.  I have no idea where though  ???  You and I will only be there by 11.30 if the train is on time - due in at 11.02.

This will be an excellent outing!

Good idea, Judith.....but I need someone really familiar with Sydney and the Mitchell Library to suggest a place......maybe somewhere that folk could have a coffee or cuppa while they wait....especially if our train is late!   ::)

I think your train lands at central at 11.02....034 if late. You still have to get up to library so a 12.00noon (High Noon) appointment would be close. Glasshouse Cafe is at the library so it is pretty close.

As far as just meeting up goes, outside the older section of the library in Macquarie St there's a leafy area with seats. It's at the top of Hunter St, & adjacent to the entry to the newer section of the library. It's not under cover, though.
Hunter St runs abt 800m directly down to Wynyard Station btw

Neil, do you mean Cafe Trim?

Glasshouse comes up on google, but I think it's defunct. Trim'll have tea/coffee, so is another viable meeting point, particularly if it's wet, but as far as eating there goes, it's pretty small with a very limited menu.  There are other cafs close by.

That sounds like 2 possible options then, Ann. I'm sure Judith and I will be happy to meet everyone where you all think best.

Now there's a good thought, Muss.....maybe Loneybones, who's very clever with things like that, could make us a little RootsChat "label" we could wear....she could post a piccie on here that we could save and print, and fill in our names. When I see her online, I'll ask her.

User name or real name?

Hi
I think both names, no 1 twin grandson has an oblique fracture of the tibia, have just been to see him.  3 boys on a trampoline; one jumps on the other and look what happens.
