It doesnt matter if her name doesnt show up on the electoral roll, its who ever else in the house that is my interest, and the surnames should give away if they are who i am looking for

Also do they keep the cencus in the same place you are going to view these? How does cencus work can you look up an address of is it by area?

You can do free searches of the census indexes and pay to view the census images at a number of sites, the most popular being Find My Past, Ancestry and Family Search. Many other sources are available.

The British Library does not provide access to the censuses.

Apart from the 1911 census, you can request 1841-1901 census look-ups on Rootchat.
