hi anyone in visiting the Surrey records office soon able to do a electoral roll for me for 12 Parkhill close, carshalton 1945-1948
also 13 Benhilton Gardens, Sutton 1936-1938

12 park hill close was where my nans mum was living, my nan and her 2 kids moved in with her in 1948 after her partner mr Paradine had left her for another woman. I am trying to find mr Paradines identity.

Benhilton gardens is the address my nan gave on her marraige certificate as her address of residence, which was different to my grandads so i am trying to find out who she was living with there.

I don't go to Surrey, but I do go to the British Library where they have some electoral registers. I'll have a look, but it will most probably be next week. I need to order the registers, they are stored off-site and they take 48hrs to arrive.

Also Dawn on my nans birth certificate both parents are listed as living at 165 Islington, Liverpool.
I have been able to find info on her father, but her mother is as if she didnt excist whicg makes me wonder if she used a false name. If you were able to check thyis address for me to that would be amazing

I see you have asked Carshalton Library and the SHC. But have you asked Sutton Local Studies? According to their website they have the rolls from 1930 onwards. They will do research, and in my experience the staff are very helpful.
