runnis or yunnis bedwellty road

can anyone help please as i lived on bottom of bedwellty road next to river by the bridge. Pink house was there split into 4 dwellings in 1960 but since demolished .There was a path that followed the river and it led to two houses, one of which the reeses lived in, one was * and sister * related to mc cartheys in bridge street.Was the path called runnis or yunnis.

I have never heard of the word runnis, but could yunnis be Ynys which means island, just out of personal interest is the bottom of Bedwellty road where the road goes from Aberbargoed to Bargoed ?, best wishes Rowley
